Analysis of an IEP

Learn more about your child’s IEP in this informative presentation on “Analysis of an IEP”. Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)  are the driving force of a child’s special education services.  Attendees will leave with an understanding that the parts of the IEP as well as the documents that support it build upon each other to create a program as individualized as the child is.

The presenter, Courtney Pugh is an educational consultant and owner of  PEAKS Educational Consulting, LLC.  She is a graduate of Emory & Henry College, a member of COPAA and has over 12 years experience as a parent advocate.   She is the mother to two exceptional children and volunteers with Boy Scouts training in inclusion for children with disabilities.

4 PEAKS Educational Consulting, LLC was created to help assist families and professionals who support special needs children through the sometimes rocky journey of childhood, particularly in their education. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, we focus on the 4 major “peaks” of the journey: Early Intervention, Early Childhood, Special Education, and Transition Planning for Adulthood. 4 PEAKS Educational Consulting provides services throughout Virginia.
